Frequently Asked Questions

What types of bedding products do you offer for horses, poultry, dairy, and other livestock?

We supply Southern Yellow Pine bedding in both shavings and pellets. All of our products are kiln-dried for maximum cleanliness and safety. We don’t sell straw.

Is your bedding safe and natural?

Yes! Our bedding is made from 100% softwood and comes with an HACCP attestation, which means it’s free from harmful wood preservatives (PCPs), pesticides, mold, or visible contamination. It’s completely natural, non-toxic, and untreated.

Is the bedding low in dust?

Yes. All of our bedding is thoroughly screened to minimize dust, making it a safe and healthy choice for both horses and people.

How absorbent is the bedding?

Our bedding is highly absorbent, helping to keep stalls drier and more comfortable. Absorbency may vary slightly with flake size and dryness, but all of our products are designed to effectively manage moisture.

Is the bedding clean and treated?

Absolutely. Every product is kiln-dried, which means it’s heat-treated to kill bacteria, mold, and insects—giving you peace of mind about cleanliness.

How is the bedding packaged?

Our bedding is bagged and palletized for easy handling. The packaging is made of recyclable plastic, and skids are wrapped with a protective hood so they can be safely stored outside for up to 3 months.

Do you offer bulk delivery?

We only offer bagged, palletized loads. Bulk is not available beyond 4 hours from our Jasper plant (which means Florida is too far for bulk).

What are the delivery options?

We deliver in full truckloads, with the option of two drops if you have a matched load. Deliveries are palletized only (no bulk, no floor loading).

How often can I get deliveries?

We work with you to fit your schedule—whether that’s weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or something customized. We don’t deliver on weekends.
